Reviews: That Hideous Strength

I typically love C. S. Lewis, but this series is just a bit too creepy and weird. I can see where he is going with the story, but he adds in so many elements that it is just plain confusing to follow the planetary characters and their various names, etc. He mixes mythology with Christian believes, also making it a bit confusing. Sometimes I couldn't tell if he is trying to make a case for or against Christianity. I can see why this series is one of the least known of C. S. Lewis' works.

He titles it an "adult fairy tale", which I agree that this is not for children.
