My mother passed away last week on September 12, 2012. Her funeral is today. I'm thankful for all that she taught me and for the selfless service she embodied.
Thanks mom for being a wonderful person and teaching me to find the fun in life. I will always remember the times you allowed me to do Chinese Fire Drills with my friends at stoplights, danced in the kitchen just for fun, and hugged me when I was sad. Your smile always cheered me and your laugh was contagious.
I love you and know we will be together again some day. I look forward to that blessed reunion in time.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Rachel. I do feel at peace with all that has happened. She was in terrible pain and had a very low quality of life. I'm thankful that she is at peace now. It was a beautiful service and all felt her presence. My mom was a spitfire but never let things get her down for long and always looked for the good in the world. She will be missed, but never forgotten.
